I have to admit that this year I was underwhelmed. Sure, most looked stylish and polished, but everyone played it safe. There was just no wow factor for me. Diane Kruger's classic, yet modern look is my by far my favorite of the night. I love her Emm Kuo clutch!

Artist sisters Laura Naples and Kristen Giorgi of NG Collective caught my eye in the latest issue of Domino. Their whimsical paintings and impeccably styled homes are full of endless inspiration. Plus, I love how Laura and Kristen's personal style reflects their design tastes.

I was happy to find they have an online store full of their creations. As soon as I saw the pastel and black painting (2nd photo), I had to get my hands on it. I've been on the move, so I can't wait to find a space for the piece in my next home. I'll make sure to share when I do!
