Blue Jean Baby

Payday is finally here after the longest month ever which means those pieces that have lurking at the back of your mind for the past month could finally become a guilt-free reality (although those of you who follow me on Instagram will know I succumbed to those slides as way of a birthday present to myself so it wasn't exactly the driest of dry Januaries - oops).

Really into different jeans styles right now and keen to embrace as many vintage styles as I can get my hands one. You know the sort; not boyfriend, not skinny, something in between and althogether nostalgic for anyone who grew up in the 90s. Although actually finding a pair can be tricky; they're either too resoundingly 80s in their makeup or so baggy they make you look like the fourth member of Hanson (the hair makes the latter always something of a risk). Kind of loving the indigo wash of this Patrik Ervell pair - retro without being throwback. Add in a classic Breton top (my staple and this one by Topshop has a great, slouchy shape) and some sort of monochrome sneaker and I'd be a pretty much set for February.

                                                                                              ph. me

My favorite way to start a day is to prepare breakfast and enjoy in all yummy things.
So today, I wanted to share one super easy recipe!
All you need is:
3 eggs,
2 dl of yoghurt,
1 dl of oil,
1 baking powder,
1 tea spoon of salt,
110 gr of flour,
110 gr of corn flour,
100 gr of ham/ prosciutto,
100 gr of cheese

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and bake it in a silicone mold until they get this crispy yellow crust.
Bon Appétit!

                                                                                         -----------------------------------------------
Svaki put kada "oživim" ovu rubriku  osetim se kao Britni na povratničkoj turneji. Novi projekat za nju, "novi" recept za mene. Pa da počnemo! ;)
 Potrebni sastojci:
 3 jaja,
 2 dl jogurta,
 1 dl ulja,

Prijatno!

Decent Exposure

Sometimes a silk shirt can just feel a bit stuffy.  It's like prim is ingrained in its DNA; that collar naturally wants to close up and button up. Anyhow, I find un-doing just one button too many changes the whole vibe into something more relaxed and less refined. This two-toned Sea NY shirt has that bowling-alley kind of 70s feel that detracts even more from the flashes of black bra too. I guess the addition of baggier-than boyfriend jeans help with that too.
Plus, if like me you can get away with never really going near a wire in the bra department, creating an extra deep V can be both flattering and a way to show off those pretty lace triangles we all love to pin (just added this one to the collection). As long as you keep the shirt loose (and the cleavage factor to a minimum as a result), a little bit of decent exposure can go a long way.

Atea SS 14

As soon as Atea's SS 14 look book landed in my inbox, I knew I had to share it with you guys.

You can probably tell from the images that the brand is all about elevated basics and luxury essentials. Clean, simple and fuss-free, this is understated dressing at its best. I'm especially loving the combination of mannish tailoring with slinky, feminine camisoles - something to recreate just as soon as lightweight layers don't need to be concealed under some sort of down-filled duvet coat.

Cheetah or leopard? I spent 30 minutes deciding which animal print I wore and at the end cheetah won! :)
With flat boots, ripped jeans and burgundy scarf I made casual look for everyday, but if you pick stilettos and some statement necklace you can easily transform your look for evening.

Stockholm - Instagram travel diary

                                                                                             ph. via @vanjaam

And finally the last post from Stockholm is here! There are no more photos, I promise! ;)
Today I decided to share snapshots from Instagram and some general tips.
Travel
Jelena and I traveled with Air Serbia because we wanted to arrive at the Arlanda airport which is nearer to the city than the others.
We picked Arlanda Express as our transfer to the Stockholm city and it was really good choice even better than a taxi. It only takes 20 minutes from the airport to the Central Station in Stockholm and during this short trip you can use free Wi-Fi too! ;) After we arrived to the Central Station we decided to use taxi to our first hotel because of our luggage but if you travel light you can make a short walk if you are staying at some central hotels, it's not a long distance (10-20 minutes walk).
Tip: check the discounts for Arlanda Express and buy return ticket, it's cheaper or if you are not sure how you will travel back to the airport, change your money on time cause you don't want to run through the Central Station like we did! ;)
Tip 2: if you are control freak and want to plan everything in advance, check this website so you can organize on time.
Stay
Nobis Hotel / check here
Lydmar / check here
Scandic Grand Central - just around the corner of Central Station, where we literally jumped from our beds and hopped on the train! :)
for more great hotels and also some budget friendly hotels check here.
Eat&drink
Wienercafeet
Sturekatten

DO
Go for a walk and do not stop! ;)
Check at least one of the museums.
If you have enough time don't miss the Zoo!
Seeing Stockholm from the water is an enjoyable must.
If you are not afraid of hight, SkyView is also a must for you.
Gamla Stan if you are in love with small streets and old buildings.
for more tips check here.
Shopping
Despite the fact that Stockholm is really expensive city, no one left it with empty hands. ;)
Whether you like to shop some pastries or decorations for home, shoes or fashion accessories here are some places to check:
NK , Sturegallerian, &other stories, UONathalie Schuterman, and many, many other stores at Biblioteksgatan area.

And that's pretty much it. If you need any help, just type it here!
Hope it will be useful!
