CADAQUES

A little photo diary of my 6 days in Cadaques in Spain...I got back late last night and am pining to go back so bad.  It ws literally the best holiday ever, despite the lack of sun, and will go down as some of the most fun days I've ever spent. 

Great friends, LOTS of food (paella, calamari, cheese and tomato bread to name some of daily diet), giant Vodka and Tonics sloping around in espadrilles, long talks on the beach, guitar on the roof and endless long nights laughing till dawn made for the perfect getaway which will definitely be repeated next year.

Saw this amazing editorial with Jess Hart on he cover of Elle Spain whilst standing miserably in Girona airport last night, and it pulled me momentarily out of my gloomy post-holiday mindset.  Had the best holiday ever-despite horrible weather-will post photos later today...

Picked up these sweet sandals by Maje at the Selfridges sale.  I started to think I'd missed the boat for summer sandals when I discovered by two options from Cos and Topshop had sold out and it was only the dregs of the sale left.  However, I was seriously pleased they had all sold out when, after a little covert sale snooping, I stumbled upon these.  When it comes to summer sandals I like mine plain black, minimal and with little to no embellishment, so these are ideal.  They are also the comfiest sandals I've ever worn-not a blister in sight or bit of toe rub-and hence were top of my list for holiday packing...
